“Welcome to my website! My name is Palmira Perez, I am from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico and live in Southern California. I have a law degree and I was the national anchor for “MundoMax al Instante” on the MundoMax network for their News Briefs. For 17 years I was in charge of the local news for KWHY-22 (NBC-Telemundo) and later Mundo-Fox, for which I earned 4 Golden Mike Awards During these years, I was fortunate enough to interview different important leaders; the last one being Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

From 2017 to 20019 I was the news anchor and reporter with Noticias Univision 14 KDTV at 6 PM. and 11 PM and have 5 Emmy Awards … Currently Im collaborating with Univision 34 Los Angeles And I started an Image Consulting business to lend my expertise to those interesting in pursuing a career and giving them the tools in becoming successful.

I have traveled to various countries to produce specials such as “Senderos de Fe” (Trails of Faith) in Israel and “Los Secretos de Suleiman” (Suleiman’s Secrets) in Turkey.  As well as maintaining the the highest ratings as Primetime News Anchor and keeping the Latin community informed with special reports on the Iraq war, the elections in Mexico and the United States, among many others fascinating news stories.

I actively participate in several non-profit associations dedicated to helping those in need. I was a member of CCIME (Council Board of the Institute of Mexicans Abroad). I am currently a board member of “University of Guadalajara Foundation” and I am President of the “Asociaciónde Egresados de la U de G” (Alumni Association of the University of Guadalajara) in Los Angeles. I am one of three participants in “3WiseLatinas.” This group is dedicated to supporting the Latina woman, of any age, to pursue her dreams “ and in November 2019 I was invited to Join the Board of “ Japan House in Los Angeles “ and I serve as the only Latino on the Board.
